After years of treatment development, the solution for physicians needed a new approach. OCTO was asked to reduce the procedure from requiring four (4) doctors to one (1) doctor. We needed to completely reimagine the procedure to lower complexity and improve efficacy.
After years of treatment development, the solution for physicians needed a new approach. OCTO was asked to reduce the procedure from requiring four (4) doctors to one (1) doctor. We needed to completely reimagine the procedure to lower complexity and improve efficacy.
The key to a successful procedure rested in the hands of a highly trained gastroenterologist. OCTO's role was to maximize the physician's control within a highly chaotic environment while increasing reliability and lowering risk to the patient.
The outcome lead to a successful pre-clinical trial building confidence in the procedure and providing a foundation for fundraising. Since the completion of the deployment devices, GI windows has raised $75M and advance toward a commercial solution.
