The 500 respondents to the online survey were C-suite executives or senior managers and evenly mixed across industries. The largest percentage of the sample were executives from the retail, manufacturing, financial, and technology sectors. However, there were also respondents from the healthcare, education, energy, and utilities sectors.

Most of these executives worked for fairly established companies, with 63% noting their company was in business for 5-30 years. Another 22% worked for more legacy companies with 30+ years of business under their belt, and 14% worked for more startup organizations that have been in operation for less than five years.
